2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party social media service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our Service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service.

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of all text, images, data, and other content that you submit, upload, or create using our Service ("Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over your Content.

You grant TextToPDF.app a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you . This includes processing your content to generate PDFs, CSVs, or Excel files, and sending content to AI services for processing as requested by you. This license is revoked once your Content has been processed and delivered, or your account is terminated.

We do not view, monitor, store long-term, or use your Content for any purpose other than fulfilling your specific request within the Service. For more details on content processing and data retention, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Credits

We offer various payment models, including one-time purchases, credit packs, and recurring subscriptions (" Pro ").

• Payments: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Credits: Purchased credits can be used for various features, including downloading watermark-free PDFs and initiating AI content processing. Credits do not expire. Each feature's credit cost will be clearly indicated within the Service.
• Subscriptions (Pro): Pro subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at the start of each billing cycle. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard's billing portal. If you cancel, your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged for subsequent periods. No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods.
• Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our product and the immediate access to features/downloads, all sales are generally final . We provide watermarked previews of PDFs and processed content from AI tools so you can evaluate the output before making a purchase. If you experience a technical issue that genuinely prevents you from receiving your purchased product or using a credited feature, please contact us at help@texttopdf.app for assistance.

5. AI Toolkit

Our AI Toolkit features, including content generation, grammar correction, and image-to-text/table conversion, are provided through integration with third-party AI models (e.g., OpenAI).

• Fair Usage: AI Toolkit usage for Pro subscribers is subject to a monthly limit (e.g., 10 generations/uploads per month). Once this limit is reached, Pro users can continue using the AI Toolkit by consuming purchased credits. Non-Pro users will always consume credits for AI Toolkit usage.
• Accuracy & Responsibility: The content generated or modified by the AI is provided on an "as-is" basis. AI models can sometimes produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of any AI-generated or modified content before use. TextToPDF.app is not liable for any content produced by the AI or for any damages arising from its use.
• Input Content: By using the AI Toolkit, you acknowledge that your input content will be sent to the third-party AI provider for processing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service or submit any Content:

• In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
• For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way.
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail", "chain letter", "spam", or any other similar solicitation.
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate TextToPDF.app, a TextToPDF.app employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
• In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or in any way is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm TextToPDF.app or users of the Service or expose them to liability.
• To input or process any sensitive personal information, such as protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII) of others, without appropriate consent and legal basis.
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server on which the Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, terminating their account and reporting them to law enforcement authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of TextToPDF.app and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of TextToPDF.app.

8. Disclaimers

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

TextToPDF.app does not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TextToPDF.app, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TextToPDF.app and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from:

• Your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password;
• A breach of these Terms; or
• Content posted on the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

13. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
